Bootleg movies are either waxing or waning in popularity depending upon who you believe. So what is the truth – are free online movies legal and are they increasing or decreasing in popularity? The answer is .. . (not ‘wax on – wax off’ – that’s another movie).. .

It depends who you believe and who you want to believe! If you are a movie producer or own a recording studio, bootleg movies are on the wane, but if you are one of those that sail close to the wind where copyright law is concerned, then it is on the wax – a very slippery situation indeed! Do you even understand the meaning of these terms? Not wax and wane, but ‘bootleg movies’ and ‘online movie downloads?’

Wane means to reduce and wax to put you on a slippery slope, but a bootleg movie is a bootleg movie – no getting away from it! But more – it is downright illegal, and illegal movie downloads attract a hefty punishment. More than a traffic offence, because you are upsetting the big guys! Also, since the file sharing software used for free online movies can also be used to download music online, then the music guys are also getting involved.

You are on a sticky wicket, as the Brits say, which means your red balls can get stuck in the mud so you are in a hazardous and potentially disastrous situation – particularly if you are caught downloading bootleg movies onto your hard disk. Or anywhere – your soft and floppy or wherever! It’s just not cricket guys!

All copyright-protected material is legally protected against unauthorized use in any way unless by agreement with the originator – in the case of movies, generally the studio (e.g. MGM) and in the case of music, the recording studio and also the songwriter and artist. It’s funny how many performers are also great artists! I wonder what Leonardo played?

So the answer to the question ‘are free online movies legal or not’: if they are protected by copyright they cannot be downloaded without authorization. Bootleg movies are illegal by the definition of the term! You needn’t even ask the question! So ask another question: In spite of that, do people still download bootleg movies and get free music online from file sharing software?

Yes they do! And it cannot be condoned. You should try to avoid downloading music and movies that are protected by copyright. However, there is one teensy-weensy problem. How do you know if a track of music or a movie is copyright-protected and not in the public domain or being offered free by the owner?

The answer is that it is not easy to find that out – although if it has recently been in the charts – music or movie – then it is likely to be still protected. Recent means about 60 years in the music and movie industry, because rather than use technology to prevent unauthorized downloading, they have found it more lucrative to fine those that break the law in this way. Maybe also they don’t have a clue how to copy-protect a media file! That wouldn’t be too surprising.

What’s the way they suggest you avoid breaking the law? Yep, you got it! Download nothing unless you pay for it. In fact, most download sites that offer realistic download speeds charge a membership fee – sometimes 1 year, sometimes 2 years and often a lifetime membership (a bit like the penalties for doing it!): meaning you can use the software for the rest of your life to download bootleg movies and illegal-to-download music tracks from your cell (the same software does both).

So don’t do it: it is illegal, in fact highly illegal. I like that term – ‘Highly Illegal’ as if there were levels of illegality – not quite illegal, just about illegal, pretty illegal, definitely illegal, highly illegal and ‘chop your head off’ illegal. Alice and Wonderland stuff!

So here’s the scoop guys – if it’s illegal to download bootleg movies don’t do it. Are free online movies legal or not? Stop asking that – yes they are, but just a bit, and quite a lot for the Chinese that copy more than you do! So stop it and pay through the nose for your legal bootleg movies.

For many people, just the thought of public speaking is enough to cause extreme panic. When you consider that it is man s greatest fear, this is not surprising. In order to win the war, you must first win the battle.

For those who undergo the act of oral communication with an audience successfully, there is definitely a battle going on in which the speaker is in fight mode. Rather than fleeing the scene or standing frozen to one spot, they are able to assume a fight position and actually take control of their nervousness and allow it to work for them.

Part of the process, however, is believing in yourself. Those who go into battle fearing that they are going to lose stand a much better chance of failure than those who are equipped and intend to win it.

When you address an audience, part of your equipment is the knowledge of your material. If you do not know inside and out what you plan to say and how you plan to say it, then the battle is lost. Assuming that you know your material, have you practiced it out loud? Reading it over in your mind is not practice. Saying it out loud is.

Have you video-recorded yourself prior so that you can hear and see yourself in action. Recording yourself in practice is the best weapon you have. It is from that information that you can improve your skills.

Are you able to speak to your audience as if in conversation? That is the next stage and another part of your equipment. Public speaking is the art of communicating with an audience. As such, plan to make eye contact with your listeners and talk to them just as you would in conversation, expressing color, life, and emotion. (If expressing emotion is difficult for you, see my recent article on overcoming a monotone voice.)

Your next step is to remember to breathe. Breathlessness is the number one complaint from inexperienced speakers for two reasons: they never to think to breathe and they wait until they are totally spent before taking their next breath. This sets up an inner fight because there is never enough air to support the words being spoken.

If you are able to equip yourself with the above tips, then you are prepared to go into battle. Believe in yourself. You can win this battle!

8 Essential Exercises For Your Body Solid Home Gym

Before planning your home gym workout program it is important that you choose the right style of home gym. There are 2 general types: the Olympic Free Weight style home gym and the selectorized plate models. The Olympic style home gym is more geared towards power lifting and body building. The selectorized home gyms are geared for a more relaxed workout environment and include self spotting safety mechanisms that Olympic systems do not include. This article will cover the 8 basic exercises that should be included when you are working out on a selectorized home gym such as the Body Solid EXM1500S.

First a few general rules:

Things to consider include your age, goals and your health. If you have had any health problems in the past or you are unsure if you are healthy enough to exercise then you must consult with your doctor prior to beginning a new fitness program.

Another general weight lifting rule to take into account is that you shouldn’t work the same muscle group more then 3 days in the same week, also never work the same muscle group without at least 24 hours rest in between workouts. For example: is you did the chest press on Monday wait until at least Wedneseday of that same week until you do the same muscle group exercise.

Use a weight amount that is comfortable. This means use enough weight that you will be able to finish all of your sets and reps. Keep in mind that it is most beneficial to not take more than a 30 second rest in between sets. This keeps your heart rate at an optimal rate and allows you to burn off some extra calories plus you also get the cardiovascular benefits.

Also, make certain that you maintain proper posture during your exercises in order to prevent injury and also so you will make the most of your workout. That said lets take a look at a standard workout routine set up for 3 days per week. The days of the week are flexible but it is important that you implement your fitness program at least 3 days a week in order to see any noticeable improvements. Monday – Wednesday – Friday

1. Bicep Curls – using the low-pulley and low row bar do 4 X 8 reps of arm curls

4. Chest press: When using the EXM1500s home gym take advantage of the inner and outer peck hand positions. Do 2 sets of 8 reps using the inner pec hand position and 2 sets of 8 reps using the outer pec hand position. This will give you a thorough pec workout!

5. Upright rows – using the low-pulley bar do 4 X 8 reps of upright rows. This will give your trapezoids and deltoids a good workout!

6. Triceps push downs: Using the high pulley station do 4 sets of 8 reps starting with your forearms at 90 degree angles to your upper arms and pushing down towards your thighs until your arms are straight. Do not bend over, keep your back straight and be sure to use proper form.

7. Abdominal crunches – using the mid-pulley station perform ab crunches, 3 sets of 30 crunches.

8. Lats – Using the high-pulley and the lat bar do 4 sets of 8 reps using proper form with enough weight to be challenging but still stay in good form. This will give your lats and mid, upper back a good workout.

Get in the habit of working our 3 days per week and you will begin to see improvements in as little as a few weeks. Don’t forget that a proper diet is also a big part of maintaining a healthy standard of living, don’t just workout so you can eat junk food because this is counter productive! Their Green Wing Macaws were capable of jumping off the top of hotel roofs, without any restraints and would willingly fly down from the roof and land on their trainers hand.

It was an amazing thing to watch, so amazing that I decided to follow all instructions he gave me to the core. I obeyed everything he said, including a method that I later realized was FAR from the best way to train a parrot not to bite.

The method that this trainer taught me was what is known in the animal training industry as flooding. Flooding is where you put an animal in a situation and force it to comply with whatever means is necessary. In my case I was trying to get my Blue and Gold Macaws to willingly come out of their cages without biting me. And I was instructed to take two wooden dowels, one in each hand, and proceed to forcibly pet my Blue and Gold Macaws with the wooden dowels.

Obviously my Macaws did not like this situation as they didn t like being touched. But I was instructed that they would soon realize that the touching was OK, and that I (the trainer) was the boss, and not the bird.

This technique was to be executed so as never to harm the bird, but scare it into submission. My blue and Golds would scream, flap their wings and bite at the sticks, and each time the did so I was to overwhelm them even more by touching them with the other stick in my other hand until they realized there was no hope and finally gave up.

Luckily for me this technique works on Macaws that like to attack their owners, but it s woefully ineffective on other species of parrots, especially certain species that are prone to running away in fear vs. holding their ground and putting up a fight like my blue and gold Macaws were.

In hind sight there are much more gentle approaches to training that not only work faster than the flooding method I ve just described, but work for helping parrots of all temperaments learn to not bite. It involves putting a parrot in situations where he has to choose to do or not do something, and is rewarded for the correct choice, and ignored with the wrong choice.

The end result is a parrot who realizes that you are trying to communicate with him in a nice way because you ve never scared him or hurt him. Plus the parrot realizes that life with you is a puzzle and it s his job to figure out, because there s always a nice treat in it for him if he can figure out the answer.

This type of training is extremely mentally stimulating and with just a few short practice sessions a week with a parrot can be the perfect preventative medicine for all sorts of behavior problems like feather plucking, screaming, and boredom.
